The thermostatic faucet is a common faucet in the market now. There will inevitably be more or less problems in the daily use of the faucet. This article mainly states that when the thermostatic faucet does not produce hot water after installation, it can be guaranteed by ensuring the simultaneous supply of cold and hot water and left The hot right cold water supply cannot be installed backwards and other methods to solve some common problems of thermostatic faucets.
What should I do if the thermostatic faucet does not come out? Common problems and solutions of the thermostatic faucet
No hot water after installation:
1. Please ensure that hot and cold water are supplied at the same time and that the left hot and right cold water supply cannot be reversed;
2. When there is no cold water or the cold water supply is suddenly cut off, the faucet will be automatically closed (anti-scald function);
3. Ensure that the check valve in the installation joint is unobstructed (remove the joint and blow it with your mouth at the four-point threaded end to see if it can be ventilated. If it is ventilated, there is no problem. If it is not ventilated, replace the check valve).
Will the thermostatic faucet be burned if it is not used properly?
The thermostatic faucet has a constant safe temperature, automatically shuts down to prevent scalding when the cold water is cut off, and solves the problem of hot and cold in ordinary showers caused by water heaters, water supply pipes, public heating systems, and unbalanced cold and hot water pressure.
common problem:
1. The water comes out one by one (hot and cold);
In this case, it is necessary to check whether the effluent is continuous or discontinuous. If it is continuous, it is necessary to reduce the pressure of cold water or hot water (whichever pressure is the most). If it is intermittent, check whether the temperature of the hot water is too high. If the temperature of the hot water is too high, adjust the handle of the thermostatic valve core, and adjust the handle towards the low temperature until it is between 34-36°C. If it still can’t be solved, the spool needs to be replaced.
2. No hot water;
(1) If hot water does not come out above 38°C, it means that no water enters the valve body, the water inlet is blocked or there is residual cold water in the pipe. Treatment: clean the gasket of the clothes filter or empty the cold water in the hot water pipe.
(2) The outlet water is not hot above 38°C, check whether the temperature of the hot water has reached above 55°C, check whether the pressure of the hot water is low (this may happen to users of bungalows and top floors), and deal with it: increase the temperature of the hot water temperature, and adjust the pressure of the cold water.
(3) Only one kind of water comes out. The main problem is that the hot and cold water inlets are reversed. Just change the water inlet.
3. The gas water heater does not ignite or stops once it is turned on. When using it, the water will be cold and hot for a while. The main reason is that the flow and temperature of the water heater are not enough. Treatment: adjust the gas water heater to a large flow rate and set the fire to high;
4. The water temperature of the electric hot water with constant temperature faucet is low;
The main reason for this situation is that the electric water heater is generally set at a temperature of about 50°C when it leaves the factory, so the hot water passing through the constant temperature faucet is low. Treatment: Reset the hot water temperature of the electric water heater, preferably around 60°C.
5. Cold water flows to hot water or hot water flows to cold water (string water);
Check whether the check valve at the cold water or hot water place is supported or blocked by foreign objects, just use a screwdriver to push it slightly and let the water go. If the problem cannot be solved, the check valve needs to be replaced at this time.
6. There is dripping water at any joint of the faucet.
Slightly tighten the interface with a tool or wrap a raw material tape on the thread.
