The faucet is a hardware piece that has existed since there was running water, and it is also an indispensable hardware piece in the home. Everyone is already familiar with it.
But is the faucet in your home really installed correctly? In fact, the installation of faucets in many families is not very standardized, and there are more or less problems of one kind or another.
I have summed up five misunderstandings. Let’s see if you have already made such a mistake?
Misunderstanding 1: Install the same type of faucet in different functional areas
There are various types of faucets. According to different functional areas, faucets mainly include basin faucets, bathtub faucets, washing machine faucets and sink faucets.
The structure and function of faucets in different functional areas are different. The faucets of basins, sinks, and bathtubs generally use two types of heating and cooling and bubblers.
The faucet of the washing machine only needs a single-cooled faucet, because the water flow of the single-cooled faucet is faster, which can save water to a certain extent.
Misunderstanding 2: The hot and cold water pipes are not separated
Under normal circumstances, the cold and hot water faucets control the mixing ratio of cold and hot water through the different opening angles on both sides of the ceramic valve core, thereby regulating the water temperature.
If there are only cold water pipes, two water inlet hoses can be connected when installing the hot and cold water faucets, and then installing an angle valve can also play a role.
