Method 1: Cleaning of the inner window
Prepare cleaning tools: cleaning cotton, detergent, towel;
Pour the detergent into a bucket or basin of warm water, lay the towel on the ground and start cleaning the windows;
Wipe off the dust of the window frame with a typed or old cloth, and then clean the window frame thoroughly with a soaked cleaning cotton.
Specific cleaning methods are as follows.
(1) Clean the window from the top of the window in an S-shape, all the way to the lower right corner;
(2) Start cleaning from the top left corner of the window, drag the sponge directly downward, and then use the eraser brush to wipe away the moisture from the glass from top to bottom. Continue wiping the entire window glass in a top-to-bottom motion. Use a buckskin cloth or dry rag to wipe excess water from the rubber wiper, then begin cleaning the next row, all the way to the right side of the window.
(3) Don’t forget to wipe the dry wiper with a buckskin cloth or dry rag after each cleaning row. Otherwise, there will be visible wipe marks on the window glass.
Wipe dry the window frame. After cleaning the window glass, dry the window with a buckskin cloth or dry rag.
Method 2: External window cleaning
(1) Prepare cleaning tools: cleaning cotton, detergent, towels and other cleaning utensils.
(2) According to the cleaning needs whether to remove the sliding window, generally lift the sliding part can be disassembled, so that the cleaning is more thorough.
(3) Cleaning steps.
Pour detergent into a basin or bucket filled with warm water, remove the window’s windshield, and clean the cobwebs with a rag or broom;’
Rinse the exterior windows and windows with a soft hose and clean the window frames thoroughly with a soaked sponge;
Use a rubber hose for garden watering to wash away dirt or dust from the exterior windows. Clean one window at a time so that water stains do not dry out on the window;
Moisten the sponge and clean the window frame thoroughly;
Don’t forget to dry the scrubbers with a buckskin cloth or a dry rag after each cleaning row, otherwise the window glass will have visible scrubbing marks;
Dry the window frame, and after cleaning the window glass, dry the window with a buckskin cloth or dry rag.
Method 3: Other methods
A bucket of warm water: Warm water is easier to clean dust and grit than cold water. However, if it is too cold outside, take care that the water temperature is not too hot, or it will cause the glass to break.
A bottle of topical alcohol: This isopropyl alcohol topical alcohol is still good for cleaning windows, mainly do not use alcohol other than red wine or isopropyl alcohol.
Paper towels: in order to avoid the window wipe do not leave hairy, try not to use the hairy not, paper towels are most suitable.
Cleaning steps.
Pour 1/4 of the alcohol into the water and let the alcohol soak for one minute;
Shake the alcohol in order to mix with the water ;
Dip half of the side towel into the bucket of water;
Wipe the window glass in a straight line from top to bottom, you can also use old newspaper in this step, it will ensure that the window glass will not show streaks of wiping;
Use another paper towel to dry the window in the same way as the above cleaning steps.
Cleaning screens
Dust accumulates on the screens, and because the mesh is so large, all you can get with a vacuum cleaner is air, and the dust is not absorbed. We can use tape to stick newspaper on the screen, then use vacuum cleaner to absorb from the other side, the dust can be cleaned more cleanly.
If you don’t have a vacuum cleaner or don’t have easy access to the other side, the following method will also work.
Take some flour, add water and make a thin batter, quickly brush it on both sides of the screen and smooth it out. After waiting for 10 minutes or so, the batter will have absorbed the grease on the screen, so use a brush to brush it several times and the grease will come off with the batter. Rinse it again with water, and the grease will be gone.
The easiest way is to take two sponges, dip them in water, shake them dry, and push them flush with each other inside and outside the screen. The point of this method is that the sponge must be large, so as not to break the screen, the effect is good.
Cleaning of blinds
The blinds can be cleaned with used cotton gloves.
Pull the blinds open so that the blades are parallel;
Put on a pair of rubber gloves, then put on cotton gloves with detergent, hold the blades with your fingers and move them back and forth until they are clean;
Then put the blade flat, scrubbed with water;
Wipe dry with a dry cloth, it is very clean.
