In the construction focus of painting work, the anti-crack treatment of the wall is the most basic and critical, especially at some seams and some places with joints. Due to the difference in materials, cracks are often easily caused, such as the newly built walls of the room. Cracks are prone to occur at the joints with beams and columns in the original structure, so multiple processes are often required when dealing with the base layer of the wall:

First of all, the seams are treated with foam agent, which can make the seams of the building impermeable and airtight.

The second is to seal the seal with a special paper tape for paint, and finally seal the edge again with a yellow adhesive tape, which can effectively ensure the firmness and stability of the base layer and avoid cracking of the wall in the future. In this regard, the owner can communicate with the painter during the renovation to ensure that the grassroots treatment is in place to the greatest extent.

The technical requirements of painting work are relatively high, and the working hours are also relatively large. Taking a new house with three bedrooms and two living rooms as an example, the painting process takes about 10 days, including grass-roots treatment, mixed oil painting, etc. In the painting process, the most worrying thing for consumers is the cracking of the wall.

Of course, some cracking problems are caused by the shrinkage of the putty in the later stage. When the first putty is not dry during construction, the putty is scraped off immediately, and then painted, which will easily cause the surface layer to crack after the putty dries, especially when it is encountered. In such typhoon and rainy weather, we must pay special attention to prolonging the drying time of the wall after the first pass. In continuous rainy days, the air is too humid and the wall is not easy to dry. After the surface is cracked, it is more troublesome to repair. First, the cracks must be scraped clean, and then re-scraped with putty, and the top coat should be applied after drying. In addition, whether it will crack again after repairing is also a problem. Owners who are often at the construction site can also try to use sun lamps to illuminate the wall to speed up the drying of the wall.
