I started raising succulents in 14 years, and was brought into the pit by a colleague. I also used the wind nest coal, when I got up very early in the morning to go around to find the wind nest coal, pick up the load on the go, feel like a thief! Not to mention how exciting! Take it home and soak it in water for a day, then expose it to the sun, twist it and mix it with other soil. The effect is not bad! I usually use humus + terracotta + volcanic rock, or green zeolite + polymyxin. I prefer terracotta, either alone or mixed with good results! I have also used pure poly soil to plant, the roots are okay, there are a lot of hairy roots, but for the overall stability is not very good, so I took it to mix the soil.
If you are potted, I generally cool the plant for a day or two, spray the soil mix with a little water in the mix, a little bit of moisture on the line, damp soil dry seeds. The water should not be too much, because the plant just potted its capillary roots have not yet recovered, can not absorb much water, most rely on its own self-sufficiency. Damp soil is good for the growth of capillary roots, while more water will be poor ventilation and lead to rotten roots, black rot and water.
Different plants have different light requirements. I keep all of my Sedum on a balcony where the sun shines all day long, and the twelve rolls on another balcony where the light time is less. Just planted succulents can not be exposed to the sun, just sowed seeds or just grown out of the same seedlings, seedlings and so on after potted in the pot gradually increase the light time!
Finally, everyone lives in a different environment, that its breeding methods are different, not necessarily the way others are good to you must be good, it is to find out for yourself!
