1. Judgment of bathroom leaks
Generally, there are two reasons for water leakage in the bathroom, one is water seepage on the ground, and the other is water seepage caused by broken water pipes.
1. Judgment of pipeline water seepage
Pipeline leakage refers to leakage caused by defects such as damage to the upper and lower water pipes, floor drains, and toilet interfaces. The inspection methods are:
(1) Leakage of upper water pipe
The performance of this situation is that the leakage is continuous and uninterrupted, and sometimes the amount of leakage is continuously increasing. For example, if the main valve of the water pipe is closed, the amount of leakage will immediately decrease.
(2) Leakage of the sewer pipe
First observe the amount of leakage and make a record, then turn on all the faucets, flush the toilet several times and pour water into the floor drain. If the amount of leakage increases at this time, it means that the pipeline is damaged and leaking.
2. Surface leakage
There are two identification methods for surface leakage, and the specific identification methods are as follows:
(1) Leakage occurs only under conditions such as bathing and mopping the floor, that is, when water is poured or accumulated on the ground and walls. In this case, it can be determined as surface leakage.
(2) Use the method of inspection and identification of pipeline leakage to conduct inspections. If it is determined that it is not pipeline leakage, it is surface leakage.
Second, the bathroom leak repair method
If there is water seepage in the pipes, you can only plan the tiles, replace the pipes, and do waterproofing again. If the surface of the toilet seeps, you can use the following methods to repair it:
1. Clean up the dust, oil stains and accumulated water on the surface, and keep the surface dry; 2. Spray and penetrate the entire surface that can be sprayed with water, such as: tile surface, tile seam, wall seam, pipe root and other parts 3. After the surface of the waterproofing agent is dry, fill all tile joints, damage and defective parts with waterproof paste; 4. Note: After the waterproof construction is completed, it is required that the waterproof material is dry (usually after 48 hours) before it can be sprayed with water. Due to the constant bumps during transportation, the waterproof paste will precipitate, and the surface will look a little dry, which is a normal phenomenon! Knead it for a while before opening to let the waterproof paste fully cream.
