When we use some good toilet covers, we will find that when we lift the cover, it will fall slowly, and it will not make the sound of sudden collision, which can well avoid damage to the toilet cover and base due to collision, thereby extending the practical life, thanks to the damper of the toilet cover. If the toilet seat suddenly does not slow down, it is basically the problem of the damper, then how to repair it?

1, how to repair the toilet lid damper
The damper of the toilet seat is the two pins at the connection between the toilet seat and the toilet seat. They are filled with viscous damping grease, which plays the role of buffering, sealing and lubrication. The grease in this is disposable, if the seal is not well leaked or volatilized, it will affect the slow down performance. This grease is generally not easy to add, so it can usually only be replaced.

Specific method: Press the dowel between the toilet seat and the toilet seat from the inside to the outside, and then lift the toilet seat upward to remove the toilet seat. Then use the short end of the straight corner Allen wrench to insert one end of the dowel from the outside, and then push hard inward so that the dowel will protrude. Take out the pin on the other side in the same way, so that the two slow drop dampers of the toilet lid are removed. Then go to buy the same structure, the same model of dowel, and remove the opposite order, the dowel is installed on the toilet lid. Then align the two holes in the pin on the bottom of the toilet seat with the two small posts on the toilet seat, and then press down to install it.

2. Is the toilet lid damper disposable
It’s a one-off. It has to do with how it’s designed and how it works. The toilet lid slow down damper is a combination of the damping shaft, also known as the open cover forward and reverse card, a total of three layers of structure, from the inside to the outside are respectively the shaft, the sleeve (with a base), the jacket, and the hinge buffer damping grease is added between the shaft and the sleeve, so that it can play a slow down role. When the lid is opened, the shaft and sleeve lock together and rotate at the same time, at which time the damping grease does not work, so it can be opened normally. When the cover falls, the shaft and the sleeve will not stick together, and the body outer sleeve and the base of the sleeve will stick against the stubble, and the damping grease will work to achieve slow fall. Buffer damping grease is usually used for two to three years, when it leaks or evaporates, the cover plate slow fall is useless, at this time the grease inside is not good to be added, so it is one-time, once the failure to reinstall the new damper is the most convenient.

3. What oil is in the toilet lid damper
This oil is called buffer grease and is usually used on hinges. It is a new type of damping buffer sealing grease prepared from synthetic oil with high viscosity temperature coefficient. Specially used for toilet lid hinge or toilet cushion hinge, can adapt to a wide temperature range (-30 ~ 150℃), safe, non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-volatile, anti-wear lubrication, obvious buffering effect. It can reduce the acceleration when the toilet seat is falling, keep the cover board falling evenly for a long time, so as to avoid sudden contact between the toilet seat and the toilet seat and strong collision, which is not easy to volatilize and lose, and has a long service life. It is not only suitable for buffering and mute of fully automatic sanitary ware slow down system, but also suitable for blocking buffer door hinges, furniture hinges, rotating shafts, etc. Metal hinges and plastic hinges are available.
