The installation size of the shower head mainly involves the installation positions of the following four components.
1. The height of the water mixing valve from the ground
The inner wire elbow reserved for the shower is to prepare for the installation of the water mixing valve in the next step. Its height is generally controlled between 90-110cm. In the middle, it can be determined according to the requirements of the owner or the average height of the couple. 110cm, otherwise it will cause the shower with lifting rod to not be installed, do not be lower than 90cm, and it is not good to bend over every time you open the valve.
2. The distance between two inner wire holes
Experienced plumbers know that the standard for the reserved spacing of the inner wire elbow of the shower is that the error of 15cm for concealed installation should not exceed 5mm, and that for exposed installation is 10cm. If it is too wide or too narrow, it will not fit. Don’t rely on the adjustment of the alignment wire. The adjustment range of the alignment wire is very limited.
3. After the wall tiles are pasted, keep a plane with the wall
The thickness of the wall tiles should be considered when reserving the thread head. It is best to make it 15mm higher than the rough wall. If it is not good, it will not be able to install the shower. However, it does not dare to be too high above the wall. If it is too high, the decorative cover will not be able to cover the thread head and the adjustment screw, and it will be ugly.
4. Fixing of inner wire elbow
The fixing of the inner wire elbow is very important. If it is not fixed, the size cannot be positioned. It is very likely that the mixing valve cannot be installed after decoration, because it will lose its position when touched.
