For our friends who have renovated a house, after the renovation is completed, you will find that you need to install a lot of decorations and hangings in your life, especially in the bathroom and kitchen. You’ll find a lot of things that don’t have room. Installed on the wall, it is inevitable to punch holes in the tile. It is not easy to punch a hole in the tile, and if you are not careful, the tile will crack. So how do you not destroy the tile? The following Xiaobian will share my experience with you, which will be helpful for your future installation.

1. How to punch holes in the tile wall? First of all, it is very important to determine where your own wall bricks need to be punched, and whether there are water pipes, wires, and water pipes behind the tiles. Secondly, which tiles are currently on the market and are made of which tiles (because the tools used for each tile are different). Wall tiles are divided into glazed tiles and vitrified bricks (after the processing of floor tiles, the wall is covered with microcrystalline stone glazed tiles and diamond series), and these two main materials can be divided into two different tools. For the material of the wall tile, the glazed tile can directly use the special drill bit of alloy triangle or cross tile.

Both bits are the first step in the protection of tile openings.

2, know the position of the pipeline behind the wall brick, make a mark or tape it to play a reminder, be sure to avoid this position, be sure to do it. After knowing the tile material, prepare the drill bit and hammer drill to match the bolt size. For glazed tiles, the hammer drill can be adjusted to electric drill mode, vertically aligned, using an alloy triangle or cross bit directly. For the position of the hole, slowly force, wait for the drill bit to drill in, and then you can drill at a normal speed. After the tile penetrates, you can force directly to reach the desired depth (this method only works for non-concrete walls), if you encounter a concrete wall and use a hammer drill after the bit penetrates the tile, adjust the hammer drill to impact mode so you can hit the desired depth directly with force. When the wall tile is a whole body brick, it is necessary to punch the tile with the emery tile hole machine first. When using this bit, it is necessary to add some water to the bit at the same time, which can extend the service life of the bit. After penetration, regardless of the type of wall, the impact drill bit must be replaced. This drilling and installation process does not crack the tiles.

Finally, we should remind you that when choosing the installation location, it is best not to punch holes on the edge or corner of the tile, and avoid the pipeline, which is not conducive to the stability of the tile. Just take your time.
