1. Project overview: In this community, after on-site investigation, it is found that there is leakage in the window, the tiles along the lower edge of the window (that is, the edge of the window) have been damaged, and the upper edge of the window is the installation place of the external unit of the hollow air conditioner. The wind blows, resulting in water accumulation in the external unit of the air conditioner, and the waterproofing is not done, resulting in streamline leakage in the room. In order to ensure normal use and reduce losses in the later period, a systematic and professional waterproof maintenance treatment is required.

2. Photos of leaking parts and cause analysis The sealing of the window parts should be ensured to be tight. Due to the insulation of the wall, and the outer wall (window sill outside the window) has cracks and damages of varying degrees, it is easy to cause water to seep into the room along the cracks and cause dampness. Leakage phenomenon, affecting daily life.
3. Treatment measures: According to the actual situation on site and the company’s previous experience in maintenance and construction of similar projects, the following solutions are proposed for the maintenance of water leakage in this project:
1. For the convenience of construction, lower the hanging basket or spider man in advance to ensure the safety of waterproof construction;
2. Detailed treatment of the upper part of the window:
(1) Repair cracks on the platform of the outdoor unit of the air conditioner upstairs; use quick-setting type plugging materials to repair and level and find slopes; add drip tanks on the upper edge of the windows. Bottom part: Remove the original tiles along the window, slot the position near the window (cut the U-shaped groove, the depth is about 5-6cm), and then clean it; fill the U-shaped groove with sealing paste to seal; use waterproof plugging treasure Fill the slots and level them.
(2) Waterproof coating construction, brush high-elastic waterproof coating (white) or sealing paste (black) waterproof coating as the bottom layer; lay mesh material for reinforcement; fully coat 1.5mm thick roof high-elastic waterproof coating ( White) or sealant (black), multi-layer thin coating construction, strengthen the details, and paint 15-20cm on the lower part of the wall to cover the cracks.
