PPR water pipe and pipe fittings are connected by hot melt, hot melt connection is the most reliable, easy to operate, good air tightness, high interface strength. Dust and foreign matter should be removed from pipes and accessories before connection. Welding machine shall be used to heat pipes and fittings for pipe connection. The depth and time of hot melting of pipes and fittings shall meet requirements. Do not rotate during hot melt welding. When connecting the pipe with silk, the raw material belt should be wrapped to ensure the sealing.
Installing the PPR pipe Step 5 Secure the pipe
In order to ensure that water pipes will not resonate due to water pressure in future use, all water pipes must be fixed by pipe clamp. The pipe clamp spacing is 400-500mm, the outside diameter of the pipe is less than 25mm, the corner and the water meter and pipe terminal 100mm set pipe clamp. In special cases, if the water pipe goes through the geosyncline, the thickness of the mortar buried should be greater than 100mm.
After the installation of the water pipe, the pressure test shall be carried out. After the installation of all the inner wire bends, the bulkhead or triangle valves shall be installed to ensure the sealing.
Water pipe pressure test is to ensure the quality of water pipe and installation quality test, water pipe pressure test using pressure pump into the pipe ≥0.6Mpa pressure (some manufacturers in order to reflect the quality of their own brands of pipes, recommended pipe pressure 0.8Mpa). The pressure measurement time is not less than 30 minutes, and the pressure drop is < 0.05Mpa.
