The second step, set the auxiliary line
Before starting to lay, the vertical line should be hung on the wall leveling layer to determine the wall size line of the floor tile. Then set the horizontal line, so that you can ensure that the floor tile placement remains horizontal and vertical and the surface is flat.
The third step is to set up the supporting boards
When laying the floor tile, it is necessary to use the horizontal line as the criterion line and set the wooden board that can support the floor tile to prevent the floor tile from displacing or falling before reaching the adhesive strength.
The fourth step, in order to lay
The paving of floor tiles generally starts from the door and window sides (or balconies), from top to bottom, from left to right. The specific paving method is: first moisten the screed layer with water, smear the mud slurry (or other adhesive) on the back of the tile with a shovel, and then paste the floor tile on the wall, and then tap the floor tile with a shovel handle or rubber mallet to fill the space between the wall and the floor tile.
Note that the mouth should be aligned with the horizontal line, and if it is uneven, it can be adjusted by placing small wood chips under the floor tile. After pasting a line, use the ruler horizontal, leveling. Hammer the higher part flat, and fill the concave part again to ensure that it is flush. The adhesive material should not be too thick or too thin. Too thick to spread, too thin to stick.
The fifth step, cleaning, maintenance
The stains and dust on the surface of the floor tile need to be cleaned up in time. Here are some cleaning and maintenance methods. In the surface pollution is more serious, especially when contaminated with some difficult to remove stains, you can use 10% concentration of dilute hydrochloric acid solution to wipe.
