After the decoration is completed, once there is water leakage in the bathroom, the construction party should be responsible during the warranty period. Therefore, whether it is the reader or the construction party, everyone really does not want water leakage. Once rework or bear the loss, it is really time-consuming and laborious!

Water leaks in your home are often caused by stored or overflowing water. Because the cushion mortar under the floor tiles has entered the water, although the waterproof layer can prevent a large amount of water from directly leaking downstairs, but the water accumulated there for a long time will inevitably seep out through a certain pore.

What’s more, when the water level of the stored water exceeds the height of the waterproof layer under the gate stone, the water will overflow along the gap under the gate stone, resulting in water leakage.

If the construction is improper, it may cause ground water, or even repeated water seepage. Therefore, first check the drain pipe, usually before installation, the drain pipe is wrapped and protected.

If the nozzle is dirty, it needs to be cleaned with a dry cloth first. If the drain pipe is too close to the ground, the drain pipe should be shortened appropriately so that the panel after the floor drain is installed is slightly lower than the ground.

Install the fixed floor drain at the same time as the floor tiles. The installation of the floor drain is relatively simple. Select the floor drain of the corresponding size, put the floor drain on the cement, align the drain hole, and then cover the floor drain panel.

Place the floor drain on the installation pipe for measurement to determine the tile cutting size, and cut the tiles and fix the floor drain.

Focus on sealing the edge seams of the floor drain. After the floor drain is installed and fixed, it is necessary to pay attention to sealing the gaps on all sides of the floor drain with glass glue or adhesive to ensure that the odor of the sewer pipes cannot be emitted through the gaps.
